Is there any option I can enable in order to only receive email notifications for Codeforces'  official rounds? I dislike receiving any sort of unsolicited mass emails; whenever I want to find out about new competitions I check the blog posts here or TopCoder Forums, so I don't feel an email is necessary.

Compilation Errors don't result in penalty at the ICPC World Finals, but I don't know if this is due to a recent rule change or if it's an old tradition.
